Are you saying what I think you’re saying? Past the age of 32, give up on it?
I assume you’re not speaking from a carpenter’s point of view. Who are the lonely few to you? Is this what you classify as humorous creative non-fiction?

There is a word.
Past thirty-two may be a bit of a stretch. I probably should have used “twenty-two” instead.

Also, “Old” is probably not good either because it implies spinsterish.
